Cristina Pattuelli

  

I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Information and Library Science at the Pratt Institute, New York. My research focuses on information organization and knowledge representation methods and tools applied to information systems. My current area of research is semantic web technologies applied to cultural heritage resources, but I am also interested in human information behavior and interaction applied to specific user groups and communities of practice. I received a Ph.D. in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I also hold advanced degrees in Philosophy, Cultural Heritage Studies, as well as Archival Science from the University of Bologna, Italy.
