I'm an anthropologist working with Native peoples, mostly in British Columbia and Alaska. I have worked in and with museums (art, anthropology, natural history, Native cultural centers) for 15 years in various capacities. In the past few years I have used digital media in a number of ways (e.g. websites, databases, interactive exhibit interfaces) to help bring archival materials to light and to bring anthropological knowledge to the public. I also have a studio art degree and have some experience in documentary film, so I bring these visual/media sensibilities to my academic and exhibition work.
