I have worked in for a variety of cultural institutions primarily centered around the arts - though most recently I have moved into the field of archives. I hold two Master's degrees, one in Art History and one in Library and Information Science. I have interned and worked parttime for a number of archives in New York, but most notably I have worked for the Condé Nast Archive, and the archive at the Brooklyn Navy Yard. In terms of my experience with technology I have had a hand in developing a few interactive features
To boil down my professional interests in information studies, I am most interested in personal archiving as a means of expanding the diversity of materials that get preserved for future generations. In tandem I am also interested in increasing access to scholarly materials through more meaningful adoption of open access repositories by academic and cultural institutions.
