This is my first year as a Graduate student at Pratt Institute of School of Information and Library Science. I'm originally from California but moved to New York and attend school. Moving here has been tremendously rewarding and enriching. I've had the chance to internship at Columbia University's Center for Digital Research and Scholarship has taught me quite a bit about scholarly publishing and just how ingrained we, as a society, are to technology and all that is digital. It's my desire to be able to make connections and to see just how wired the digital is to museums. Is that a good or a bad thing? Hopefully attending THATCamp can provide some answers, if not at incite more questions to explore.
